Surveying
We utilize state of the art robotic total station and global positioning system (GPS) survey equipment. We also work closely with local civil firms to supplement the survey needs of certain projects.

Land Development
We assist planning efforts for individual site developments and re-development projects as wells as small and large subdivisions and unit developments. They include feasibility analysis, conceptual design maps and presentation exhibits.

Residential Construction
Four Points Surveying and Engineering provides professional services throughout the construction phase to ensure successful project completion. Our construction contract administration is often the most valuable service we provide our clients.
We coordinate with local utility companies to design and install power, natural gas, phone, and cable TV services.
Erosion Control & Drainage
We design grading and erosion control plans for large residences and commercial projects in compliance with Routt County and the City of Steamboat Springs Land Development Regulations. Typical services include detailed access drive and house grading plans, retaining wall designs, earthwork quantity calculations, re-vegetation plans and specifications, and temporary or permanent erosion control structure designs.
Civic Development
We help design rural and subdivision roads, urban streets, highways, and bike-pedestrian facilities. Our principal engineers have designed road and pathway projects for the City of Steamboat Springs, Routt County, and the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Our road designs strive to minimize impacts to the environment and scenic vistas.
